In the summer term of 2009 the MFL department decided to join in a national project to make mini books for primary school children in either French, German or Spanish. 157 books were completed and handed in, and the judging was very difficult.

The winners of the Jack Hunt Theatre and Dance Academy’s Choreographic Competition took part in the Cecchetti Choreographic Competition recently. The students performed at Cecil Sharp House in London, home to the English Folk Dance and Song Society.

Over 100 Year 11 students spent the entire day in Science completing various practical experiments and interactive tasks for their OCR course. We hired a mobile planetarium which plunged them into darkness giving them an idea what the real night sky looks like.
