Students must take pride in their appearance which will reinforce positive messages about Jack Hunt School. All students are expected to be suitably dressed at all times, not only in school but also on journeys to and from school.
Boys' shirts must always be tucked in and clip-on ties must be worn correctly. Training shoes shall be worn only for PE activities. Sensible school shoes must be worn at all other times including the journeys to and from school.
One plain ear stud/small sleeper per ear is the only jewellery permitted for girls and boys. Nose studs or other body/facial piercings are not permitted.
Hair styles should be moderate, conventional and tidy. Extreme hair dyes and tints are not acceptable. Any hair cut lower than a number 2 cut is unacceptable. Hair fastenings should be plain, grey, white or purple.
All students must wear appropriate safety clothing/equipment in practical lessons.
No sweatshirts or non-uniform jumpers may be worn. They are not replacements for blazers, top coats or uniform jumpers.
