Sports Leadership

Leadership is an important strand of our Sports College work. We have developed a clear leadership pathway for students from year 5 to year 13. This includes many qualifications for students to study and many leadership opportunities within our own school or our partner primary schools to develop and demonstrate skills.

In addition to this Jack Hunt School is a designated Top Link Hub School. This means we work with the Youth Sport Trust to host one leadership conference a year for year 9 and year 10 students from all secondary schools in Peterborough and Cambridgeshire.

At our last conference over 110 students attended a day of leadership workshops that were all led and planned by our own year 12 sports leaders. the day was supported by former olympic triple jumper Michelle Robinson.
