Attendance Award won by Year 8 student

Keeley Carrington is awarded £25 restaurant voucher, for 100% attendance.

The award, which is sponsored by the recruitment agency, Vision for Education, is one of many strategies to encourage, celebrate, and reward student attendance at Jack Hunt School.

Students who attend school every day for each half term are awarded 25 positive points, and are all entered into a prize draw to win a £25 restaurant voucher.

Our latest winner is Keeley Carrington, Year 8, who attended school every day in the second half of our autumn term.

Louise Butterworth, the Senior Recruitment Consultant at Vision for Education’s Peterborough branch, presented Keeley with her voucher, said: “We are committed to helping schools improve and promote good attendance, as going to school every day and arriving on time is one of the most important things students can do to achieve academic success.”

Kate Simpson-Holley, Deputy Headteacher congratulated Keeley and said ‘we are very proud; it takes a lot of hard work to come in everyday, you have to be in it to win it’

Congratulations to all 433 students at Jack Hunt School who successfully achieved 100% attendance throughout the second half of our autumn term.
