Dance & Theatre School Summer Showcase

Jack Hunt Dance & Theatre School are very proud to present their latest production featuring 170 students aged 4 years and up. The show willl begin with “Never Forget”, a showcase displaying performances by the Jazz, Tap, Contemporary and Musical Theatre classes.

The ballet students will then take the lead with a performance of “The Sleeping Beauty”. This wonderful old fairytale has inspired many writers, composers, choreographers and filmmakers over the years and Jack Hunt Dance & Theatre School are delighted to present their own version of this classic story.

The performances will take place at the Cresset Theatre in Bretton on Saturday 9 July at 7pm and Sunday 10 July at 2pm. Please check which performance your child is in before booking tickets. Tickets available to buy direct from the Cresset Theatre or call 01733 265705.

We are also organising a charity raffle which will take place at the two performances of our show.  Proceeds from the raffle will be donated to the local Cambridge based charity Talk to Stars.   The charity provides specialist bereavement support and counselling for any child or young person, aged 0-25 years who has experienced the death of someone close to them, they also provide support for young people when someone close to them is dying.  This service is confidential, professionally regulated and free of charge.

We are looking for donations of prizes to put into our raffle – big and small, if you were able to contribute in any way we would love to hear from you.  Donations in the past have come from local companies and organisations as well as donations of items made by parents – beauty treatments, restaurant vouchers, car valet, food hampers, bottles of wine and dance related items.  If you have something that you would be willing to donate or if you have any contacts with local companies who you would be prepared to approach please contact Jo Morris who is co-ordinating the raffle at
