Strong A Level and Vocational Performance at Jack Hunt Academy

Keys Academies Trust is proud to announce a strong upward trend in academic performance at Jack Hunt Academy for post-16 qualifications, including both A Levels and Vocational courses.

The latest results from Year 13 pupils highlight a consistent and substantial improvement, reflecting the dedication of students and staff.

Headteacher Mr Jon Hebblethwaite said:

“We are thrilled by the Year 13 results this year. We have seen a big increase of students getting the grades that are needed to get into the best universities or to secure an apprenticeship. Our Sixth Form is a place of success where students thrive and achieve; this is down to our students and staff who constantly follow our values of Hard Work, Integrity, and Kindness. We are so proud of our Year 13s, and we wish them every success for the future.”

CEO of Keys Academies Trust, Dr Ian Young, added:

“Following our recent published success with our primary schools’ SAT results, these strong improvements in post-16 outcomes are further evidence of our growing achievements and ambition as a Trust. A strong work ethic has been fostered in the Sixth Form, and Mr. Hebblethwaite has rightly pointed to the sustained hard work of students and staff. A special mention goes to Mr. Tim Perkins, Assistant Head for the Sixth Form, who has been instrumental in driving this improvement since taking on the role in September 2023.”
