Three Inspirational Teachers Go the Distance!
Massive congratulations to our very own Science teacher, Mr. Chris Limmer, who recently completed an extraordinary endurance challenge — a 50-mile ultramarathon with over 6,000ft of elevation gain! Tackling the brutal heat and minimal shade, Mr. Limmer pushed through the toughest miles (27–35!) with sheer mental grit and determination. His final time? An astonishing 9 hours, 25 minutes, and 4 seconds! 👏
Even more inspiring, Mr. Limmer used the opportunity to raise over £600 for the PANDAS Foundation, which supports parents facing perinatal mental health challenges. A phenomenal achievement from an incredible role model — we’re proud beyond words!
Joining him in this season of sporting triumph were Mrs. Sophie Ellwood-Jeal and Mrs. Elaine Nash, who both successfully completed the London Marathon! Their months of dedication, training, and perseverance culminated in crossing the finish line of one of the world’s most iconic races.
Mrs. Ellwood-Jeal is also fundraising and supporting a worthy cause — you can support her efforts through her Just Giving Page Sophie Ellwood Jeal is fundraising for Sue Ryder

What an inspiration these three are to our whole school community — proving that with resilience, heart, and a little sweat, anything is possible!
