Stacey Bailey, Alex King, Marco Calitri, Rajan Karavadra and Rachel King celebrate excellent results

Jack Hunt School is absolutely delighted with their A Level results; which are the best the school has ever achieved and have built on the progress of the last three years. The school achieved 99.8% A*-E grades overall; 49% A*-B grades and 75% A*-C grades.

Notable successes in terms of A* and A grades are Ross Huskinsson and Rachel King with 1 A* and 3 A grade results each; Alex King with 1 A*, 3 A, 1 B and 1C grade; Marco Calitri and Holly Chapman with 2 A*, 1 A and 1 B grade results each; Jamie Adams with 3 A and 1 B grade; and Rajan Karavadra and Stacey Bailey with 3 A grades each.

Pamela Kilbey, Headteacher, said “We are delighted with these results. We have a large, diverse and inclusive 6th form and with 310 entries at Year 13 to achieve a pass rate of 99.8% is outstanding; especially since we do not insist on B grades at GCSE for entry to our 6th form courses, as many schools across the country do. We are also extremely pleased that 49% of our results are A*-B grades and 75% of our results are A*-C grades. Our staff and students, with the support of parents, have worked tremendously hard to achieve these superb results.  We wish our Year 13s the best of luck for the future as they progress to their University courses or chosen employment”
