Jack Hunt School students took time out from their studies to take part in the Peterborough School Sports Partnership’s official attempt to break the world record for continuously hooping for 2 minutes. At 12.00pm 86 students started in their attempt where they were not allowed to touch or let their hoop drop to the floor. At the end 66 students stuck to the task and will now go forward as the official numbers to try and break the official world record.

The Jack Hunt students were one school of a larger group of schools attempting break the world record which included primary and secondary schools from Peterborough, Lincolnshire, Staffordshire, Stoke on Trent, Derbyshire, Tameside and Exeter. This is one of many events being organised in Peterborough and around the country to help celebrate National School Sport Week - www.schoolsportweek.org
