Prospective Year 7 Opening Evening - Tuesday 27 September

Our annual Prospective Year 7 Open Evening will be held on Tuesday 27 September 2016.  We would like to extend a warm invitation to parents, carers and Year 6 children wishing to join us in September 2017.  Please come along to find out more about the range of educational experiences and opportunities we offer.

 Our annual Prospective Year 7 Open Evening will be held on Tuesday 27 September 2016.  We would like to extend a warm invitation to parents, carers and Year 6 children wishing to join us in September 2017.  Please come along to find out more about the range of educational experiences and opportunities we offer.

The evening is your opportunity to talk to staff and current students about:

  • Our impressive curriculum and provision for all students
  • Exciting enrichment activities and opportunities
  • Pastoral support moving from Primary to Secondary School
  • What it is like to be a student at Jack Hunt School

The evening will begin with a short presentation from our Headteacher, Mrs Kilbey and the Senior Leadership Team followed by an opportunity to walk around the school and meet staff and students who can answer any questions you may have. On your arrival, staff and students will be on hand to direct you to the Assembly Hall.

There are two start times and local primary schools have been allocated times to ensure a balance in numbers of attendees throughout the evening. The start times are:

6:30pm

for parents/carers and pupils from:   

  • Gladstone, Longthorpe, Middleton, Ravensthorpe, The Beeches

7:15pm

for parents/carers and pupils from:
 
  • Eyrescroft, Highless, Sacred Heart, Thorpe, West Town Primary Schools

*Pupils from other schools will be welcome to join us for either presentation

It is highly recommended that you attend the evening event to benefit from the accessibility to staff and students. If however you are unable to attend, we are holding two open mornings on Thursday 29 September at 9.30am, and Friday 30 September at 11.00am.
